FOR THAKUR

only in your grace
am i made whole, holy,
he who loves most true.
if you are a pillowcase
let me lay my mind on you.

soft and humble one,
behold me,
small and lonely,
scared as i have been ...

stainless one, forgive me,

take my hand and lead me,
take my eyes and help me see,
my tongue and help me speak,
my head, and let me sleep ...

for if you are a pillowcase,
please let me rest on you.
